Terms of service

Draft — last updated October 2026

These terms describe how the service is meant to work. Nothing is for sale yet — this page will get a full legal review before any plugin launches.

1. The service

TrustPlug publishes small, focused plugins for Framer — currently Testimonials, Social Feed, Gatekeeper, Pathfinder and Standby Mode, with more planned. Each one is described on its own page, including what it does and doesn't do today.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. You need to be legally able to enter this agreement to sign up.

3. Plans, billing & refunds

Every plugin keeps a genuine free tier. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, and we intend to offer a 7-day money-back window on first purchase. Exact pricing lives on each plugin's page and may change before launch.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misrepresent reviews or social proof, don't use access-control plugins to discriminate unlawfully, don't try to circumvent plan limits, and don't use the service for anything illegal.

5. Content plugins (Testimonials, Social Feed)

These display content from accounts or platforms you connect, subject to each platform's own terms. View limits depend on your plan.

6. Access & routing plugins (Gatekeeper, Pathfinder)

Geolocation and VPN detection are inherently approximate — treat them as a strong filter, not a guarantee. If our systems have an outage, these plugins default to letting visitors through rather than blocking your whole site.

7. Standby Mode

Shows an overlay or redirect to visitors while leaving whitelisted IPs able to preview the real site underneath.

8. Data protection

How visitor and account data is handled is covered in our Privacy policy, not duplicated here.

9. Intellectual property

We own TrustPlug and its plugins. Using the service gives you a limited license to run them on your own sites — it doesn't transfer ownership of anything.

10. Availability

The service is provided as-is. We depend on third-party platforms and infrastructure we don't control, so we can't promise zero downtime.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page.

14. Contact
